What is Ceremonial Matcha powder?
Ceremonial matcha powder is the highest quality green tea powder and only grade of matcha green tea used in the tea ceremony (chanoyu). This premium grade is vibrant green in color, with a very delicate taste and extremely fine texture. Ceremonial grade matcha is made from the youngest tea leaves, with the stems and veins entirely removed. The leaves are stone-ground, which makes the matcha suitable for a thick-style tea.
Different between matcha and green tea
Matcha is the powdered form of green tea. When drinking Matcha, you are drinking the whole tea leaves ground to fine delicate powder. Whereas green tea is brewed by steeping tea leaves in water.
